Invocation
FvwmPager's invocation includes the first and last desktops it has to look after (remember that 0 is always first in *nix land).
Specific Options
Specifying MiniIcons will draw an application's icon in its window, if the window is large enough.
I personally like my pager to remain skinny, so I said to stay in one Column. If you moved it around, and wanted it fat, you could specify Rows.
I use my first desktop (or zeroth one) as my wain workspace, so I've Labeled it as such. My other one is background stuff, like rhythmbox, emerges, etc.
Other Options
I don't need a large desktop, so I just use a 2x2 grid, giving more four window spaces, and eight in total with my second workspace.
