- there are some closed source ati drivers for amd-64

- there are some closed source nvidia drivers for amd-64

Note: To install the nVidia-provided graphics-driver-package (called "nvidia" in xorg/XF86.conf, not the generic "nv"),
do "emerge nvidia-drivers" or "emerge nvidia-legacy-drivers".
You have to recompile ("emerge nvidia-drivers" or "emerge nvidia-legacy-drivers") the kernel-module after every recompile of your kernel.Last modified: Wed, 10 Sep 2008 11:04:00 +1000 Hits: 13,438
