Questions you may have

Why aren't their binaries in Portage for PPC?
This is a great question, I don't know either so I felt the urge to provide them.

What USE flags did you use and mtune?
This is my G3's make.conf http://zomgoblinz.org/make.conf , all packages I build for G3 will use this.

What if I want different flags?
Build your own or wait for me to provide different variations over time.

Steps for using binaries

1) Browse to http://zomgoblinz.org/g3packages/
2) Download and place the package in /usr/portage/packages
3) emerge -k packagename

Future Plans

Eventually create an actual binary overlay for PPC since these aren't the fastest machines to compile on.
