This is a windows manager that imitates the look of Windows XP, and it may be possible to make it look like Windows 2000.

emerge --ask xpde

Then you will need to modify the .xinitrc in the user's home directory.

File: .xinitrc

# out the previous lines if they are present

Then add:

exec /opt/xpde/bin/startxpde

Now using startx one will start xpde.
