OpenLaszlo

Introduction

This is a simple tutorial that explains how to setup OpenLaszlo Presentation Server with Tomcat 5 in Gentoo 2006.0. Portage ebuilds for OpenLaszlo are not available yet, so we will be using the bits available at the OpenLaszlo site.

Installing Tomcat 5

OpenLaszlo runs in any Java based Servlet Container. Tomcat 5 under Gentoo can be installed by following the instructions available at Apache Ant and Jakarta Tomcat HOWTO. Tomcat installs in /opt/tomcat5
