Introduction

When installing openoffice using portage (either openoffice or openoffice-bin), none of the dictionaries are installed. They exist in separate packages : app-dicts/myspell-<Language Code>.

After installing the dictionaries they can be configured with eselect by installing app-admin/eselect-oodict

Examples

To install the english dictionary : emerge app-dicts/myspell-en
