Pidgin (formerly Gaim) is a modular messaging client capable of using the following protocols:

It is written using GTK+.

Problems
- If you have no sound in Pidgin, try with the "gstreamer" flag. Remember that pidgin default sounds may be found in "/usr/share/sounds/pidgin/"
