TIP_use_folders_colors

Introduction

It's not only for fun or because it looks beautiful.

For terminal users it's a great advantage using different colours for files, folders, links, executables, etc.

HOWTO

type:

eval `dircolors -b /etc/DIR_COLORS`
alias ls="ls --color=auto"

If you put the above two commands in your ~/.bashrc, they will be executed on each login.
