Configuration of the tin newsreader
Configure the leafnode setting
Edit the *!/etc/news/server * file to contain a line containing the local [leafnode] server information:
leafnode.foobar.org
Deleting postponed articles
The tin newsreader currently provides no quick way to delete postponed news articles for posting.
To delete a postponed article, press ^O to display the postpone menu offering the following actions:
- y Spawn the editor for the named article
- Y Post the postponed article (without spawning an editor)
- A Post all postponed articles (without spawning an editor)
- n Skip this article
- q Quit the postponed menu
Select option y, to spawn the editor for the named article, now quit the editor without saving the file.
