A display manager that comes with Xorg. It is pretty minimalistic - no session chooser, reboot or shutdown buttons, no eyecandy. Its default look is black screen with a grey login/password dialog in the middle. It can however be improved, as seen in this screenshot, where two xclock instances and two TCL/Tk apps (uname line and buttons on the bottom right).
